Interested in payments education? Join other payments experts as part of the PaymentsEd Advisory Board of Directors.

Participation provides Advisory board members high level interaction and relationship building with merchants, acquirers, card companies, and service providers who influence the direction of the industry, the scope of the PaymentsEd and the content of the annual event. Board companies and their representatives enjoy high visibility as representatives of the PaymentsEd in all meetings, communications, promotional materials, and the web site. PaymentsEd Board member companies have the flexibility to appoint and change their company representative for board meeting participation with approval of the PaymentsEd Merchant Board.

Board members are able to influence card not present processing protocol and strengthen merchant education in this targeted market segment. Serving as payments experts they help members follow the rules, remain in good standing with their processors, lower fraud and chargebacks, reduce potential costs, and avoid penalties and fines across all merchants in the industry.

Bernie is a Senior Director of Product Management at Visa, where she serves as a global product leader within Visa’s Value Added Services (VAS) organization, driving the strategy, development, and growth of transaction risk and fraud management solutions for merchants and acquiring banks. She leads a cross functional team responsible for products including Decision Manager, Visa’s enterprise transaction risk platform. Across her tenure at Visa and Cybersource, Bernie has driven the evolution of strategic products in risk, fraud, reporting, and transaction management—leading platform modernizations, expanding product capabilities into new markets, and launching solutions for both acquirers and merchants. Bernie began her career as a developer and transitioned into product management at PayPal, where she built an internal developer center supporting API documentation and the company’s shift toward modern REST APIs. Her technical foundation in UI engineering, API platforms, and enterprise payments enables her to connect product strategy with engineering execution. She holds a BA in International Relations from the University of California, Davis, and an MA in International Policy Studies from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey. Bernie lives in Austin, Texas, where she enjoys road cycling and rock climbing—two mountain loving pursuits that keep her searching for the tallest “peaks” Central Texas has to offer.

Ray is the Senior Vice President of Channel Partnerships at Revaly, a leading payment recovery solution for companies with recurring and subscription revenue. Revaly recently rebranded from FlexPay to better reflect its evolved capability in the payments ecosystem. With over 20 years of experience in the global payments industry, Ray has held strategic roles at JPMorgan Chase, Ingenico ePayments (acquired by Worldline), and Litle & Co (now part of Vantiv/FIS). Beyond payments, Ray has held senior leadership positions at Sempris, The Reunion Group, and AEGON/TransAmerica Life, focusing on continuity, loyalty, and direct marketing programs. He holds an MBA from Texas Christian University (TCU) and resides in Dallas, TX.

Kristy Cook is the Vice President, Payments Consulting for U.S. & LAC at American Express. In this role, she oversees a multi-national team responsible for providing payment processing expertise and technical consulting to American Express merchants, processors and service providers. Before joining American Express, Kristy spent 14 years in payments acceptance at Target where she served in several payments industry forums, and she also worked 10 years in various financial roles.

Erich leads the sales team in charge of Visa’s overall relationship with merchant and co-brand partners across the bill pay segment in the US. In his role he assumes the strategic and operational responsibility for this industry vertical and also manages Visa’s relationship with a number of industry associations. In previous roles at Visa Erich managed the Fuel & C-store as well as the retail and grocery merchant segments. Prior to joining Visa in 2014 he worked for American Express on both the issuing and the merchant side of the business. During that time he held increasingly senior positions including general manager of the merchant business for a number of markets in Europe and Global roles in large B2B relationship management while based in Frankfurt a. M., London and New York. Erich started his professional career in retail banking in his native Germany and lives with his wife in Rye, NY enjoying life as ‘empty nesters’.

Karim Bishara is a Director of Product at Ethoca, a Mastercard Company, where he leads strategic initiatives to enhance merchant and issuer engagement, streamline operations, and address challenges in payments, disputes, and fraud. Since joining Ethoca in early 2014, Karim has held various customer-facing roles, working closely with both merchants and issuers to drive success. He previously led Ethoca’s award-winning Global Customer Success team, a highly skilled and diverse group dedicated to providing personalized frontline support and training to Ethoca’s global customer base post-implementation. With a strong background in customer experience, Karim’s responsibilities include people leadership, training, operational scaling, and ensuring Ethoca delivers world-class service to its customers worldwide. Karim lives in Toronto and is an avid fan of Paris Saint-Germain.

Jamie Colbert has over 20 years of payments experience. She is currently a Senior Relationship Manager at Worldpay by FIS in the North American E-commerce space supporting Digital Content clients. She started as a Relationship Manager in 2008 with First Data (now Fiserv) and has also spend time at Bank of America Merchant Services and Chase. Prior to becoming a Relationship Manager, she worked in Product Management and Project Management. She enjoys building relationships with her customers and being their advocate with the card brands while educating them on the various aspects of electronic commerce.

Currently, Tull is the Chief Partner & Channel Officer at Sticky.io, where he leads strategy, partnerships, sales, product strategy, and go-to-market execution for Sticky’s Recovery solution and Payment Orchestration business. In this role, he helps clients minimize churn, maximize revenue, and unlock new growth opportunities. Prior to joining Sticky.io, Tull held senior leadership roles across the payments and fintech space. As VP of Strategy, Partnerships, and Strategic Sales at Vindicia, he forged high-impact partnerships with industry giants like Accenture, Deloitte, JP Morgan, and Visa. Before that, he led the Subscription and Fintech Partnerships team at ACI Worldwide, advancing verticals in digital payments, subscriptions, and BNPL product development. At Worldline, he launched the first global B2B platform and BNPL product, helping merchants scale internationally. Earlier in his career, Tull worked with JP Morgan Chase and Citigroup. At JPMorgan, he advised Fortune 50 companies on merchant services. While at Citigroup, he was the top lending sales executive companywide and successfully led his office to the #1 ranking nationally.
